ASU QB Shouts Gay Slurs While Wearing Hot Pink Shirt

At the behest of some Blandlife readers, I’ve been asked to elaborate on the Rudy Carpenter hot pink shirt debacle.

According to multiple witness accounts, here is just a sampling of Rudy’s antics the evening of January 25th, during the ASU – Washington game:

  • Rudy wears fluorescent pink shirt to game instead gold. When given a gold shirt by a student, not only does he not put it on, he throws it to someone else.

  •  He was seen walking throughout the arena acting like the BMOC; either texting, talking on his cell, or “working” the crowd looking to get noticed.

  • Rudy was sitting outside the stadium after the game and one of the students asked him why he wasn’t wearing gold. He then started yelling back at him “oh yeah what sport do you play? what sport do you play?” and ended up running down the ramp and chasing after the kid trying to start a fight with him.
  • Rudy continued to challenge him to a fight and repeatedly called him a homosexual.

See…this is exactly why you never wear pink while drinking…It causes you to get angry and blame homosexuals.. This is the governments fault!!! There should definately be a disclaimer added to mens clothing that it pink warning of it’s violent effects.

Why is Rudy so gay?

Just show him the Holiday Bowl tape if you want to shut him up.

To bad the best facts about this story is left out… I would like to know how exactly and what slang terms he used to refer to homosexuals.

Call me crazy but sometimes it is the linguistic overtures that really impress me.

Look who is trying to sound all smart about homosexicles

you know how i know your gay?

Am I the only one that is gonna stick up for Rudy? I don’t want those kweers touching me.. I would totally dropkick some nerd if he was hassling me. I know what Rudy is going through… I played ball in high school, and if its not some chick claiming your her kids dad, its some geek looking to make a name for himself by having his head kicked in. fag-gits

Trust me, if you play football well, you can’t be a gay. Sure, we would wrestle in our jock straps, towel-snap asses in the shower and shave each other (for taping), but that’s friendship and camaraderie…

Rudy is as straight as they come. When I say ’straight’ I mean only guys, and when I say ‘come’…

I wonder if the homophobic slur he used was “bummers”. At least it woulda been classy

Why are you people wasting time talking about this on one of the most important days in American History? Today we have an opportunity to strike a blow against international enslavement and tyranny through the purity of our monetary system. Why are you not out shouting from the rooftops “RON PAUL - RON PAUL - RON PAUL FOR FREEDOM” Why do you shirk the enormous responsibility to spread the word of liberty to every village and shire? I am heading out right now to sit on a street corner and bang my mothers pot with a spoon - sitting proudly in front of my RON PAUL FREEDOM sign made from my bedsheet.

Hear Hear! Angry… I don’t know why people are so ignorant. Paul is the only one equipped to defend us from the race of cyborg supermen currently being bred to enslave the world! RON PAUL FREEDOM! FREEDOM TO THINK! FREEDOM TO DREAM! FREEDOM TO HEAR VOICES!!!

Hey, who let those freaks in here? Everyone knows you should vote for Al Sharpton. What? He’s not running? Then who is that guy on the tv all the time?

As for Carpenter, he is just worried about the ASU athlete curse… He is getting the defensive banter ready before he gets locked up.

Sheriff Joe could get him a pair of pink underwear…

I heard a rumor that blandlife was planning on offering a shirt saying “Oh, Yeah? What sport do you play” available in hot pink only. Any truth?

That t-shirt idea is awesome… I am all over it. On the back could be his last name and number.

I also like how the post just becomes a string of homophobic slurs.

For some reason, i have a feeling this is going to turn into the midget conversation.

Hey! don’t bring us into this!!! ever hear of a gay midget? Didn’t think so.

Yes, you heard correct…they need to go to print in time for the ASU v. UA game this weekend!

Are you guys for real?!? In this day and age of video phones, nobody caught any of these “antics” on video? Sounds to me like a bunch of idiots stirring crap. Rudy may appear to be the center of attention, because everyone is aware of him. Wearing certain colors, and chearing like an idiot should be left for the non-athletes. No starting QB in college football goes to basketball games and acts like a raving idiot like the dorks playing dorm ball. By the way, Rudy doesn’t drink.

Kindof hard to snap a photo when you are being chased by a guy in a pink shirt yelling homophobic slurs…

hey defender… how do you know Rudy doesn’t drink? please don’t get me started on QBs acting like idiots in public. I could drown you with Ryan Kealy stories.

Why do they need a picture? Don’t you know what a pink shirt looks like?

Last spring I had Rudy and a bunch of other jocks in a class with me. Rudy always showed up 15 or so minutes late, leaned back and texted on three phones, and would get up and leave when it pleased him. BMOC is exactly the attitude he took.

So reading this story doesn’t surprise me one bit.

Thanks for very interesting article. btw. I really enjoyed reading all of your posts. It’s interesting to read ideas, and observations from someone else’s point of view… makes you think more.
So please keep up the great work. Greetings.
