Seven More Days Until

Pitchers and Catchers report!

February 14th marks the beginning of Spring Training and 2008 is exciting year for Dodgers fans because they are celebrating their 50th anniversary.  They will also be participating in six Cactus League Spring Training games (half day anyone?)

 Other News:

(By the way, thank you to all the words of support I received from the Blandlife community regarding the upset on Sunday.  I feel like I have licked my wounds long enough and I am ready to move on.)

Could we have made the hearts blue? heh heh… I suspect this is the opening salvo in the terrific battle betwixt blandlife Dback and Dodger fans… Its going to be a great summer. KOO-ROW-DAH KOO-ROW-DAH! Fighting!

kudos to Cindy for using the words ‘deep’ and ‘lick’ in a story and not being vulgar….

I should’ve thought of that!! = blue hearts

Thats the color mine is…

This is going to be a GREAT season… my only problem is figuring out how to make it to the Cactus league.

Btw D-backs announced yesterday that their closer is going to be Brandon Lyon. I couldnt be happier for the kid, and cant wait for the lion to roar when he walks onto the field to get his save.

um hasn’t Lyon had a shot before? I remember it not working out so well

It would be great if we could all go to the Dodgers v. DBax Cactus game…but it’s in Tucson, ugh!

As a full closer? No. He filled in during a couple of games when Valverde went down to the minors two years ago to figure out how to hit the braod side of a barn.

Lyon last year was terrific as a setup and even saved a few non-important games. He will be good and is cheap.

Sammy Saito!

When are we going to get a Byrnesie update??

I bet we’ll see Chan Ho Park too, I still have his pennant from his first time as a Dodger…

Byrnsie is doing fine… fortunately baseball doesnt test for meth.

This very day at lunch….matt was working his Dbacks connection with his “new” bank….CHASE (any guess for the switch? hint…DBACK debit cards…and he made them overnight them to us)so we’ll see how big the Holdsworth debt is….is it big enough for some box seats??? hmmm…

(apparently I have to ghost post for matt :)

that is priceless megan… I tell you, Cindy and I ran into him at a game - we were impressed with his yellow CPA Association shirt. Will that be making an appearance this year?

That’s right! It was his AZ Society of CPA shirt …with the Kachina on it!

Is there anyway we could get a Rockies, Padres and Giants fan to sound in here? This website would be rockin’ with good natured ribbing from a healthy representation from all the teams in the strongest division in the MLB.

Of course we would lose poor ol’ fritop. He cant pay attention to anything that isnt anti-semitic, or shown on a projector served with a bucket of maize

ha ha!

I don’t eat maize that be for the redman.

Sammy Saito!

Sammy Saito! Go Dodgers… BTW trn, you know that Giants and Rockies fans have no idea how to turn on a computer, much less log on to a site and leave a comment… It takes hours for them to figure out a keyboard. Its nice to see the dbax fans progressing… next step? bathing.

Hello, of course I came to visit your site and thanks for letting me know about it.
I just read this post and wanted to say it is full of number one resources. Some I am familiar with. For those who don’t know these other sites they are in for a treat as there is a lot to learn there.
