Los Angeles Water Tops Taste Testing Charts

Almost all of us here in Los Angeles, have an overbearing fear of drinking the water our city provides. Most of our society has resorted to water bottles responding to our concerns of  having tumors by the age of 30, or dying from some microbe growing from the toxic city sludge. If you lived in the valley and have seen the L.A. river you know what I am talking about.

However, recently an annual international taste test of municipal city water was held and Los Angeles topped the charts with the best tasting water from cities from 19 different states and countries including New Zealand, Romania, Macedonia and the Philippines. So fritop, fellow Blandlife writer, —-here is to you and your green bathtub water.

Salud y buen probecho!

Maybe its all the microbes that give it the flavor. Also that is a great picture in HDR. I know fritop is probably the only person that knows what that means.

Okay, let us in - what is HDR?

High Def Rez?

Kindof… its a way of modifing a picture where you take the same picture several times with different varying aperture settings and then merge them taking the best from each.

The effect tends to be great contrasts between the light and shadows. Try typing HDR in Flickr some time and look at the cool stuff. You will be able to spot a HDR photo from a mile away after looking at just a few.

That’s cool.

wowzer, it looks really nice. do you do that post, or do you have to have a special camera?

Did sheri really do that? or just copy the pic?

Im going to guess she pulled it off of the web and had no idea it was HDR.

Only an extreme nerd would recognize the technology so quickly.

You combine the many photos in post, by the way I wonder what part of LA this test was taken, because my water comes out yellow and smells like rust.
