Why Obama, Why?
This is just a quick post to throw an idea out there and see what everyone thinks. I have never had a high opinion of Barrack anyway, but I admit I was a bit disappointed in his response to that silly photo HRC put out. It would have been impressive to see Obama come back and say “Yeah, I dressed up in that - so what?” or “The clothing represents a part of my heritage that I am very proud of - a culture that has made me the man I am today” or perhaps “I have also dressed up as a clown, a vampire and a cowboy - I have pictures of those too!”. I understand that they are fighting the ignorance of American voters, but this is just the Democratic primary. Does he really think that Democrats care if he dresses like Lawrence of Arabia? It would have been the “change” that Obama claims he stands for - instead I believe he showed himself to be just like any other candidate. Now that he has his sniff of power, he will fight for it. I thought it was an opportunity to rise above “politics as usual”

great point Cindy! I was going to bring up that point as well. I think this brouhaha tells us more about the Democratic party than it does about Obama. and yes TRN, Obama is just another power hungry liberal who believes he is poised to be ruler of the “free” world…. nothing like Mitt - heh heh

Whoa wait… are you saying that Obama is like every other politician? There is a part of me that kindof wants Obama to win just to shutup every moronic, idealistic voter in this country that thinks that anything is going to change.
Wouldnt it be great to see the teflon Obama pass some stupid legislation or make a horrible judicial appointee that just pisses off his base? It would be almost worth it… almost.
