A suspect in the slaying of a University of North Carolina student leader was charged Thursday with the killing of a graduate student at Duke University, authorities said.
Police charged Lawrence Alvin Lovette Jr., 17, of Durham, with first-degree murder in the death of Abhijit Mahato hours after he surrendered in the death of UNC student body president Eve Carson.

I propose a point system for grading ‘Scumbags’. Murder is an automatic 5pts - Rape/acts of perversion 3pts - various violent acts 2 points - Point totals are automatically doubled if the victim is underage or an asset to society. That puts this loser at about a 20 (at least) compared to a 9 or 11 at most for that Yuma gangbanger.
look i know that he didnt something bad but that does not make him a scumbag everybody makes mistakes in there lives and this is a racial thing to me becuase it is people that die everyday but you dont hear about it but when some white person from unc dies its all over the news have you people ever took the time to realize whats going on in america today we have soilders dying everyday in iraq but it is not blowing up like this we have babies and little kids that die everyday in africa but the reason you dont hear about it becasue they are black and its little babies that get raped by older men but i bet it wouldnt blow up like this so i think everybody needs to take the time to realzie that there is still racism going on and that this is not the first killing of a college student
Seems to me that he’s made more than just a mistake … he’s killed two people and in my book that’s the makings of scumbag.

However… rape (if they even bothered), murder and armed robbery are not mistakes. They are a series of willful, intentional acts designed to take life, property and dignity from another human being. Dummy

Its this kind of permissive attitude that is so frustrating. They should be tried as adults and if convicted - be swiftly executed. We know that won’t happen - America lost its moxie a long time ago
