OH SCHNAP!!
Rough night on the river.
We have all been there… cruising along, half-watching the baseball game, half-listening to your old lady talk about whatever - your team is doing fine. True, you are on the road but its getting late in the game and you got your newly christened closer waiting in the wings. In the top of the ninth, your tidy little 2-run lead threatens to swell as you load the bases on a mop-up reliever who has already coughed up two walks. Ha Ha! here comes the scrappiest gamer on the team - fan favorite - everybody’s pal. Big SWING!!! Oh baby, Byrnsie is really gonna get a hold of one!!!
(Narrator changes perspective)
uh - a tapper to the mound? Oh well, no worries… this has-been on the mound is bound to screw this up and we can pocket a little insurance (not like we need it).

Here comes my man Lyon, baby SHUT EM DOWN!! two-strikes to that jerk Phillips.

No worries, no worries - Lyon shut them down opening night, he can do it again.
Sweet - here comes big ol’ dumb Adam Dunn aka Captain K. All he has done in his career is strikeout… damn - another single? no problem - I am serious… no problem.

Nice little double play would work - ha! he is trying to bunt…. Come on Lyon - don’t give him a good pitch….

- CRACK!!! What the heck? that can’t make it, you gotta be kidding me! OH SCHNAP!!!!
Home run.
Thanks alot guys - that makes me feel a whole lot better.
Still no comment from LA Travioso on whatever the heck happened in LA last night. I for one can’t believe they are going to count that one. I can see the MLB is doing everything they can to scrape together a few wins for the sad sack Giants.

New closer… but the small ball was impressive last night and the D-backs do it the best.
I still hold that there was alot to be excited about and 150+ games to make up the loss ground.
But very nice sudo-live-blogging, captivating.
Also, I read this while Doug (Thyroid Cancer) Davis struggles mightily against a rookie pitcher in his MLB debut who has yet to make a mistake.
If Travioso is still trolling this blog, I wonder if his lowrider is going to make it to phoenix for the sold out D-backs Dodgers game.

Please Tai-Pan this blatant attempt to demoralize and goad Diamondback fans is beneath you. Leave that to Lil Travioso. As for the Diamondbacks I saw that Cancer Boy’s start was delayed this morning.
