First off, the excuse was that he played with Shaq. Fine - then his team just sucked. Okay…. what’s the excuse now? I agree Chris Paul has had a fabulous season, but the NBA has had “makeup” MVPs in the past (see Robinson, Olajuwon and Nash - they really wanted to give it to Stockton, at least his team went to the Finals). Chris Paul will get his shot - Garnett isn’t winning anything this year. Give it to Kobe, lets stop this ridiculous charade that he is anything other than the best basketball player on the planet.
