BEWARE them coyotes!!!
I opened my email today and saw a message from an “unknown” mailer…I decided to take my chances and open it…apparently it was mailed to our neighborhood email list (used for garage sales etc…) by someone who lives near us…(name has been changed to protect…)
”Hi my name is Rachel and I live on Hualapais in the Summit….just want to inform anyone who owned a beautiful yellow tabby cat, with a black collar and a metal tag - engraved with “Pick of the Litter”….sorry to say that a coyote must have attacked him last night and left him on our front yard…I have his collar if someone wants it back…if I don’ hear from someone in a couple of days, I will throw away…This just confirms the fact that if people leave their pets outside, the coyotes or wild cats are bold and will attack….God bless this little kittie…”
Gross. I had no desire to find a picture….

Sounds like stories that I use to hear from the Tucson side of my family…
I agree, someone needs to strap a flashlight on the end of his barrel and start to take out the trash. If you need instructions on how to do this ask Rod. I was shocked the first time I saw him do it 10 years ago to kill rabbits and then several years later when I came home to visit, we were pulling up his driveway at night and there was rabbit and sure enough, he reached back and pulled out a rifle with a flashlight strapped to the barrel and the rabbit was no more.

yikes! oh I long for the good old days when coyotes were shot on sight, and cats were…. just cats.
