Never Enough
I’m dusting off my black eye-liner and Doc Martens and getting ready for tomorrow’s Cure concert in SLC. (Okay, so perhaps not my Docs, I don’t seem to have those anymore)
While I know that Tai-Pan is not quite as excited as I am to see The Cure, he has agreed to join me; all he asked for in return was tickets to next month’s GM concert.
For those of you who want to make sure Robert Smith is looking like his usual self, here’s a clip from a show earlier this month.
I checked to see what their set-lists are like for this tour and here’s what they played at Red Rocks last night:
Setlist: underneath of the stars - prayers for rain - a night like this - the end of the world - lovesong - to wish impossible things - [unknown new song] - lullaby - maybe someday - the perfect boy - from the edge of the deep green sea - hot hot hot - the only one - the blood - the walk - push - friday i’m in love - inbetween days - just like heaven - if only tonight we could sleep - never enough - wrong number - one hundred years - baby rag dog book
Encore: plainsong - disentegration
Encore2: freakshow - close to me - why can’t i be you?
Encore3: boy’s don’t cry - jumping someone else’s train - grinding halt - 10:15 saturday night - killing an arab
Sounds like a good show to me! Good thing there are seats at this one; I don’t want Tai-Pan’s back giving out on him again!

The Cure? Wow that takes me back to scratching that name off my art desk at Crane Jr and writing in AC/DC.
I guess that makes us both losers.
